Nagpur: The Maharashtra Legislative Council witnessed high drama today as Adv. Anil Parab raised serious allegations of tender irregularities, demanding the immediate suspension of the concerned senior official and the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the matter.

Parab argued that no fair investigation is possible as long as the accused officer continues in the same position, warning that evidence could be influenced and the probe compromised. His demand led to sharp exchanges and a major uproar in the House.
